CAUTION! Many of our trails have been groomed, hoping to hold onto as much snow as we can with the pending rain storm on Thursday/Friday. But, please be careful as there are still many rocks, stumps and wet spots. There is a giant wet spot on R1, near South Ridge Dr. One of our groomers went in deep, up to the headlights. Please avoid this area until we get a deep freeze. There is no good way around this area and more rain this week won't help.

The Standish trail system is open for snowmobiling. We are currently in the process of opening all of the gates. Please be aware that there are still exposed rocks and stumps beneath the snow, as yesterday's storm was our first major storm of the season and the trails have not been groomed. Please ride carefully! Let us know if you see any trees across the trail or signs that need replacing as we have had several high wind events over the last few weeks. You can use our website contact page to report issues. www.standishsnoseekers.com Hope to see you on the trails!
Unofficial reports around town say up to 26" of snow fell today around Standish. The snowmobile trails on not officially open and most of the gates are still closed. This storm dropped very light and fluffy snow with little to no base below. There are still many rocks and stumps beneath this new snow. Be very careful if you do go out riding. The club will continue to assess the conditions over the next few days. Weather permitting and additional storms in the forecast could help for an early start to the season. Ride safe!
We have snow in the forecast beginning Saturday afternoon and running through a good part of Sunday. Don't forget to sign up for your Standish Sno-Seeker's membership and while you are there, buy a raffle ticket for some awesome prizes! www.standishsnoseekers.com
