Below is an update from Club President Paul Politz:
Hello Seekers, It’s been one heck of a summer and a lot has happened so far in the off season. First off the clubhouse and surrounding property is coming right along. Most of the trees have been removed (thank you Wing Logging) and I will be in there with my tractor next week making room for the new portable garage for the groomers.. The main structure has been stripped and the new roof is on (big thank you to the Straight Up Roofing crew) along with donations from Home Depot. We will be getting to the new framing work and getting the siding on soon. This winter we will have a place to call our own and to store all our equipment and trail signage needs. Our 2019 membership form can be found on this website and I have marked off those who have taken advantage of the August early bird signup special. If you haven’t sent your check in you still have a week to get it in. We have not had any new members sign up as of yet. We will also be putting an ad in the shoppers guide to try and drive membership. I will be organizing another work party in September to get moving equipment and supplies to the new location and to fix the bridge behind the Cross farm, so stay tuned. Remember to think snow!!! Sincerely, Paul Politz Jr (SnoSeeker Webmaster ps.) The Farmer's Almanac came out this week and is saying that "winter is expected to be marked by intense cold and a lot of precipitation, with extremes so wild they're comparing it to an amusement park ride." Bring it on!!!
