All good things must come to an end... The Standish trail system is now closed. We will be working on closing the gates to protect our private land owners property who graciously allow us to use their land to ride each winter. There will still be access to the Sebago Lake and Otter Ponds while there is still snow on those trails.
Thanks to all who joined the club, donated to our trail and groomer funds and helped to maintain the equipment and trails. Reminder, we will have our March meeting next Tuesday 3/26, at Standish Town Hall - 6pm. Also Raffle tickets are still available with the drawing at the end of the month. Contact a club member or use the contact page on this website to get yours today!

The good news is that we got 2" of fresh snow yesterday. The bad news is that Mother Nature will not be cooperating today! The forecast is for light rain on and off with a high of 54 degrees. There should still be plenty of snow on the trials this weekend, but there will be a few bare spots especially on south facing hillsides and approaching road crossing. There may also be some water bars and standing water in the low areas. Get out and ride, as it won't last long as we approach spring. Have fun and ride safe!
The March meeting of the Standish Sno-Seekers Snowmobile Club will be held on Tuesday March 26th, 6pm at Standish Town Hall. Reminder, bring ticket sales to the meeting as the drawing will be held at the end of the month. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, please see a club member or contact the club through this website. All proceeds to support our trail grooming equipment. Check out the pics below, the trails were awesome on Sunday!
This year the Dave Davis Memorial Dance to support the Standish Sno-Seeker snowmobile club has been replaced with an awesome Dave Davis Memorial Raffle. The drawing will held on March 31st and winners will be notified immediately after the drawing. All proceeds go to support the snowmobile club for the purchase of grooming equipment. The trails have been in great shape this year due to early snow creating a great bas and great work by our all volunteer grooming team! Even if you don't snowmobile, you should check out the trails by snowshoe of cross country ski from Johnson Field, through Otter Ponds and out to Rt. 237. Also check out the rest of the trails around town. There is a map on this website.
Raffle tickets are $10. See attached picture for prizes. Ask a club member for tickets or send a message from the contact page on the website. Good luck! Folks! This will be the best riding of the season.... After the last several storms, we have a great layer of snow on top of a solid base. I don't think there will be many more weekends like this, as we get into March, the sun is higher in the sky and out longer. Temperatures look like they will be trending into the 40's. So get out and ride!
Here's a great shot from our groomer this afternoon. Forecast is for 1-3" of snow tomorrow, and another 6-12" Sunday into Monday! Get out and ride!
