Hey, we have not had great weather, but our trail grooming team has been out working the trails and there should be some decent riding around town this weekend. Be careful as some of the gravel pit operations have started working and there may be a few thin spots, but overall conditions are good. I am not sure what to expect from the storm on Saturday so get out and ride early!

Great club ride today with several of our Standish Sno-Seeker's club members around the Standish trail system. Join the club at www. standishsnoseekers.com
The Standish snowmobile trail system has been groomed and is offering some great riding! Our trail team has been out several times over the last few nights flattening out the trails and packing them down. The really cold weather is helping to lock them up overnight so we now have a really good base. As always, be careful as there may still be a few thin spots out there. Here is a picture of one of our newest club members out enjoying his first ride after moving to Maine and the first on his new 2016 Yamaha SR Viper. A couple of other club members took him for a 28 mile loop around Standish to introduce him to our trail system last night. Welcome to the club!
Also, we have added a link on our contact form to upload files. Please send us your favorite pics of your rides around town and/or pictures of trails where maintenance may be required. Include a note in the comments section and we might post them under this news page! Good news, we finally got some snow in Standish. I would estimate around 8" of snow in most areas, and we had little to no base to work with, so be careful if you are out riding as stumps and rocks are not far below the surface. It would actually help the club if you get out and pack down the trails. We have started to groom the trails around the center of town and hopefully have more snow on the way Friday and early next week. Check the website and follow us on Instagram as we provide more updates. Also, help the club by visiting our online store to donate to our trail and maintenance funds! www.standishsnoseekers.com
